a youth persuing his DREAM

I am Puspa Raj Khanal. I was born in the remote village of Bhojpur, eastern part of Nepal. I am the only child of my parents. We came to Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal a decade ago to run away from hard life of village. However the life didn’t change even in Kathmandu. My parents used to work in small factory. The earning was very low. The best thing in my life in Kathmandu was that I was getting good schooling in a private school.  My parents were very happy for the fact that they were providing me with quality education in a reputed school.

To support my parents, I used to visit shop to shop to sell chocolates, biscuits etc. I studied very hard. Ultimately our hard work paid off with securing distinction in School Leaving Certificate (SLC).

The college provided me with 50% scholarship for my academic excellence and also extra curriculum performances. With same hardship and difficulty, I completed my higher secondary level education. I have a dream to pursue chartered account course.  But due to my poor economic condition, it is very hard to pursue my dream. In the meantime, I shared my problem with ACCESS about my aim and hardship. Then under Family to Family Support Project, ACCESS managed some financial support from generous person named Mr. Bishal Poudel for my CA study.

I have no words to thank ACCESS and Bishal dai/brother for their help without which it would be very difficult to pursue my dream. In the future, once I become self dependent, I will support other needy people like me.
